The Eden Committee purpose is to explore our inter-relationship with the Earth and our faith. The direction of this group will be determined by its participants. This could be a group of lively fellowship and the supportive sharing of green ideas; We could explore our spiritual connection with the planet; We could investigate new ways to make our church and our homes more environmentally conscious and sustainable; Or hopefully, this group will be a dynamic combination of all of the above.
The seeds for the Eden Committee were planted last year, when several members of the congregation began investigating ways to promote a healthier and pesticide-free church lawn.
The current leaders of the Eden Project are Barbara Cowan and Sasha Pringle.
The Committee plans to hold information sessions, potlucks and activities to make Trinity a joyful green environment!
