Trinity United Church in Gravenhurst has had a rich musical history. From the 1920s until 1976 Gordon Sloan was organist and choir director. Terry Vint continued the music tradition from 1976 until his retirement in 2002. Dean Perry followed Terry Vint from 2002 until 2011. September 2011 Trinity welcomed our newest Director of Music, Dan McCoy.

The church’s choirs have flourished since the early years. In addition to singing in regular worship and special services, the choirs participate in concerts and special events in the community. The church’s choir rehearse from September through June each year. New members are always welcome.

Trinity United Church is fortunate to have a Casavant pipe organ to enrich our musical community. This organ was installed in 1954 and was augmented in 1974 to 18 ranks and 935 pipes.

After a successful capital campaign to raise funds to restore the Casavant organ located in the sanctuary, work commenced shortly after Easter 2008.   In September the organ raised our voices in song once again to the delight of all.

An inaugural concert with Ryan Jackson, originally from Bracebridge, and a rising star in the world of organists, officially launched the organ's return to its original sound.

Trinity is now making a Joyful Noise again!
